WHEREAS, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) has adopted a spending policy; and
WHEREAS, to implement the association’s various institutional objectives in its 2018 fiscal year, NACDL’s FY 2018 budget anticipates utilizing funds from reserves in excess of the policy; and
WHEREAS, NACDL’s board of directors believes that these objectives are appropriate and in line with the board’s objectives for the 2018 fiscal year; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that NACDL suspends its spending policy for the 2018 fiscal year.
