WHEREAS, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) has adopted a spending policy; and
WHEREAS, to implement the association’s various institutional objectives in its 2022 fiscal year, NACDL’s FY 2022 budget anticipates utilizing funds from reserves in excess of the policy; and
WHEREAS, NACDL’s Board of Directors believes that these objectives are appropriate and in line with the board’s objectives for the 2022 fiscal year; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that NACDL suspends its spending policy for the 2022 fiscal year to the extent reflected in the approved FY 2022 budget.
