Katherine has spent the majority of her career representing the underprivileged. She worked with the Indigent Defense Commission in Virginia for ten years, where she served as Acting Capital Defender, Deputy Capital Defender and Assistant Public Defender. Most recently Katherine represented indigent juveniles in criminal court and foster children awaiting adoption at the Law Office of Nathan Collins and Associates.
